Cookie Policy

This policy explains how Brushline uses cookies and similar storage on your device. We only load optional cookies after you give consent through our cookie banner or the "Cookie settings" link.

Categories

• Necessary — required for authentication, session security, load balancing, and core features. These cannot be disabled.
• Analytics — optional. Helps us understand aggregate product usage. Off by default.
• Marketing — optional. Powers advertising measurement and audience building through the Meta Pixel. Off by default.

Cookies and providers we use

• bb_cookie_consent (necessary, first-party) — stores your cookie choice. Retention: 12 months.
• Supabase auth cookies / localStorage (necessary, first-party) — keep you signed in. Retention: session or as long as your session is valid.
• Theme + locale preferences (necessary, first-party) — remember dark mode and language. Retention: up to 12 months.
• Meta Pixel by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (marketing) — loaded only after marketing consent, only on barberbooked.com. Sets first-party cookies such as _fbp. Retention: up to 90 days (set by Meta).

Retention of your consent

Your decision is stored in the first-party cookie bb_cookie_consent for 12 months. If the cookie is missing, invalid, expired, or the consent-policy version changes, we will ask again.

How to change or withdraw consent

Click "Cookie settings" in the footer at any time to reopen the preferences dialog. Saving new preferences immediately updates active tracking and resets the 12-month retention window. When you withdraw marketing consent we stop loading the Meta Pixel and remove the first-party cookies we own; cookies set by third parties on their own domain can only be removed by that party.
